| Wraith 4 Link Skid Risers from DCW I love the Wraith, but hate that we can't adjust the suspension geometry. Now we can. Machined from 6061 aluminum, these risers give you three additional adjustment points for the upper links, plus braces to take the flex out of the skid. Strictly a bolt on affair, no modifications are necessary apart from a little trimming of the floor pan when using the upper holes. In some cases, straight upper links may need to be used. Sits flush with the skid so you won't get hung up. Running a large motor? No problem. Here they are installed with a 3660/540 size motor. Very nice. I don't even have a Wraith (yet) and I would like a regular kit. Please put me on the list. |

PM's sent to: losi6821, Trugg, winnerone23, MaverickJK, crawler67 Sadly that is as far as the first batch went after I picked out the goof ups. My order of aluminum should be here Tues/Weds, and hopefully will be able to fill more orders by the weekend. Oh man, you don't know what you're missing. Most fun I've had with a rig in a long time. |

The UPS man showed up sooner than I thought. 4 feet of 6061 bar stock fresh off of the bandsaw. Last edited by Duuuuuuuude; 01-07-2014 at 01:24 PM. |

The boss sent everyone home due to some incoming bad weather, so I spent the afternoon at home in the shop. I may actually be ahead of schedule. If some new tooling shows up tomorrow I should be able to start shipping on Saturday. I've also decided to make a few changes. V2 will not have threaded holes for the links. Sucky, I know, but I'm just not terribly thrilled with my tap jobs. To compensate for that now-lacking feature, I'm going to spend time making the parts look more streamlined and less chunky. At some point, when I get set up to make better looking threaded holes, I will bring them back. There is nothing horribly wrong with them, they will do the job, right now they just aren't as good as I would like them to be. For those of you that will be receiving V1 (should be any day now), if you want to exchange them for V2's I will be happy to make that happen. I've also changed some wording...the "regular" kit is now the "half" kit. Last edited by Duuuuuuuude; 01-08-2014 at 07:14 PM. |
