Yes, as you guys stated the king pins should sit inside the Axle-Cs. Now it may be a little tight to get them in. This is because I have the C-s spec’d at the nominal diameter of the king pin head. However, due to tolerances of both the king pin or Axle-Cs, there may be a slight loose or tight installation.

I look forward to how this project turns out!

Default Exceptional Customer Service.

Ordered parts on the 30th November, items were posted on the 1st of December.

Landed on my door this morning while at work.

An amazing turn around considering it's had to come across the Atlantic and through UK customs as well.

Nice work Sam

I just got the call that they are ready

After I pick them up I will do a little incoming quality inspection then should have them up on the site ready to purchase in a couple of days.

Thanks for the update. I went to order a few things from you the other night but your axle-c's where out of stock so I guess I will have to wait.

Thank you guys for the continued support and happiness with the product. I am happy to announce that the new batch of Axle-Cs are in stock and ready for purchase. The website (http://www.Fat-Rock.com) is updated so that you can purchase directly. These will start shipping out Monday.

Thanks again!

I ordered more! I love these things. I figured I better have an extra set in case I break an axle...

You know what is weird, I have heard the steering comment from a few people now. I didn't notice it being any smoother, but several have mentioned it now. I can see that it could be true because the plastic will distort sooner than the aluminum causing the bind. Very cool observation guys.

All orders will be going out at lunch tomorrow. Thanks again.

They don't work with my alum knuckles (yeah racing). The holes in the C's are to big and allow the knuckle to slide up and down. They worked fine for a while but now they seemed to have worn in. I plan to make delrin bushings to fix the issue. You can see in the pic that was posted above how close the size of the machined portion of the knuckle is in relation to the diameter of the screw head.

So are you saying that diameter of the knuckle (where it meets the axle-c is the same diameter or smaller than the head of the 3mm king pin? Have a pic by chance?

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the pic. So the only way I see at the moment to run that brand of knuckles with the Axle-Cs is to put spacers (washers) over the two ends of the knuckle to locate it properly between the Axle-C.

Thanks again for the info and pic.
