Fungi's Micro Ladder Frame Kit

Realistic leaf spring chassis for 1/24 Trail Trekker. I used this frame for the Chevy welding truck build (5.25" wheelbase). The wheelbase is between 5.00" and 5.25" depending on the lower link length and the shock spring length. The lower it sits the longer the wheelbase. I can make the frame as long as you need in .25" increments. I'm selling the chassis kits for $49.00 plus $6.00 shipping for usa. Message me for my PayPal info.

Here is a video of the flex.

This is what the kit includes, note some screws came from the Trail Trekker. There are several configurations possible, and some parts may not be needed. There are also some spare parts included.

Very nice! Please upload a video showing how well those leaf springs work.

How long will the leaf springs last? How much abuse can they take?

Thanks.

Hi Jato, I will make thew videos and post links. They work very smoothly. I have had these leaf springs on a rig for well over a year. As long as they are not twisted they last forever. I've never broken them, bu I do include two spares per chassis kit just in case.

Hi Old Man, I try to do my best. :D Oh my aching head... lol

Hi Jon, This will be green lighted by weeks end! Just a few things left to do.

Thanks all for the interest!

Re: Fungi's Micro Ladder Frame Kit

Is it easier to make a model sit lower on this frame than the stock trekker frame? It appears so. So more chance of an intact interior?
Thanks

Could you elaborate and show pics of how exactly you can mount model bodys on to the chassis

If you have a hard time holding the tiny parts like the shackles when poking out the holes, place it on a piece of cardboard. The part will be supported and the plug will press into the cardboard.

Don't forget to place those tiny black plugs in little piles strategically around your kitchen- looks like mouse scat and will freak out the wife. :)
