UPDATE
As of September 2015 all chassis going out will be of the new updated twin shock design. I listened to my customers wanting an scx10 to fit and to get elec's into the guts of the chassis so here it is and it looks bad arse too!!

The new design now allows the chassis to accept a stock scx10 shock size and will now be a lot easier to tune...
Now you can put oil in one for dampening run the other one dry with an internal spring (pulls the feature closed) this will make it a faster process to tune and cleaner as you can swap the spring without having to deal with the oil... Or if you really wanted you could run oil and spring in both, or two different rate springs.
An added bonus is you now have more room in the guts for the elec's
Shocks not included.
No price change with the upgrade "thumbsup"
First pic is of the new upgraded chassis!

Hi Guys,

Time to change things up in PRO

I've been wanting to build this for some time, had the idea in my head for so long about a chassis that has a low cog BUT can give awesome clearance without changing too much of the tuning etc they we all know.

At first i was thinking of using a servo and forcing the front down.. some issues though was 1.added weight 2.extra radio function 3.a real time killer.

One key feature i really wanted was for it to act fast and not slow my pace at comps..... so i though more of how do i achieve this? so i turned to something i know "shocks" and it was meant to be!!

The shock is fast and doesn't add to much weight, and the big thing is it works independently to everything else so you can focus on just driving! You can also tune it to your liking with different springs and oil's.

Hows it work?
Basically its an extension of the front shocks, as the belly of your rig is on a breakover it allows upto 40mm extra clearance... it doesn't affect the links it just controls the height of the front shocks.

Now you dont need to use the feature either ;-) If you like the look and just want to use as a normal chassis then there are holes in the side to "lockout" the feature and it then works as a normal chassis... This option also allows you to lockout the feature when tuning your main shocks.

On top of the 5th member feature this chassis was built with strength in mind, its made from good quality carbon fibre and detailed in solidworks to make sure it can take a beating... it is also builder friendly, the design was worked in such a way that you could use straight upper links (ive got bent fronts in mine but that is just to give me batt room)

I'll add more info etc as the questions progress

Cost for a built chassis $180aud
International postage tracked to most country's $22aud
Local Australian registered postage $11aud

Paypal is.... bevear@westnet.com.au
Please msg when making payment your RCC user name so I have a contact incase I need to.

It comes...
Assembled with alloy hardware, bearings for the feature, carbon side plates to keep to rig in spec (it was built to the letter of the rules)
Chassis doesn't come with a shock for the feature, you with need to add your own shock and tuning... or use screws in the side holes to lock out the feature.

Links???
I have a link guy that is now making links for me, if you order with links he will make and ship to me then i ship with the chassis & tracking.
Titanium links @ $130aud set of 8.
Stainless Steel links @ $75aud a set of 8 links
No rodends (he can supply if needed) in lengths you request... He is set to make XR10, Dlux/Berg and Bully2 sets ready to bolt in!

Now I'll shut up and leave you with some PRO porn!!

Great job!!!!!!!!!!

Our aussie dollar is crap ATM.. about $0.80US buys $1AUD so guys buying from over there will save big time "thumbsup"

Its like a 20% off for US customers :ror:

Sad thing for us here though is we are doing it tuff and our hobbies are suffering cause we buy most of our gear/materials etc for US shops or vendors... when we buy its +20% which for me hurts, i make good gear and want to share but its hard to compete with others that can get material for less.

I know what you mean,,
I live in Norway so moust off my parts comes from usa,,'
And the US $$$ is VERY strong compared too Norwegian Krone,,
but lately there has been some vendors coming up here in europe,,
like crawlerkeller`s reptile and fly1 and the late NCD SUDU whitch dravtech has taken over the production off sudu pro chassis,,
PS,,do you supply links to the riddler aswell????

im pretty new to crawling, what axles and wheels is this designed around?
would you use super bully axles with 3.8 wheels or bully 2.2 with 2.2 wheels?

Re: Riddler Pro Chassis

I'm really interested in this chassis, but I have doubts, for examples where I put the electronics if there is the shock? when he closes would remain blocked by the package, and last doubt the shock does not increase significantly the weight of the vehicle at the top?

Re: Riddler Pro Chassis

one off those scx-10 shocks weights around 12-15g with oil so it is not that mutch off a extra weight,,
not when you see how the fifth shock works,I have great belive in the riddler chassis myself.

As started weight is bugger all... as for elec's some guys are using the back wall with the ???? to mount gear.. Ive got my bec under the shock... there are also many in general that mount most on the axles, i know one guy that mounts the esc on each motor... things are that small and light these days it dont matter as much as it once did.

Like every crawler build it just takes a bit of thinking "thumbsup"

Niko??

Sorry mate but our Australian Nationals is just next week, im extremely busy making parts and rebuilding motors for locals in prep for the Nats that im falling behind in responding to messages. I will catch up on things after Nats "thumbsup"

As for links.. Im still waiting on my link guy to make some.. I can look into other options for you in the meantime if you like.

Talk with other vendors.. maybe make some myself BUT i wont have the 100% bolt in option, you may need to trim to fit but i can add extra thread for that... they would be alloy 7075, dont have the time for Ti + its far to costly to get to OZ

Re: Riddler Pro Chassis

I understand, but those who buy a chassis without links, even d lux produces them for this chassis
