Steel or aluminum and what would be best..

One more question how much to ship to Canada, and do I just PM to put my order in....
thanks....

Most customers are using the aluminum rails. They are lighter weight, a few bucks less than the steel, and the same strength (since they are thicker than the steel to compensate). The steel version is mainly offered for those that want to weld to the chassis.

For flex, like fr8cture said, it is going to depend on how you set up your rig. Chassis torsional stiffness will be dictated more by the cross braces you use.

All orders are placed through the website, which calculates international shipping automatically depending on what items you purchase. All the payment is handled by Paypal, making everything really easy.

Also, in other news, the chassis rails FINALLY showed up yesterday, and after some quick processing and packaging went right back out for those that had orders placed. One exception though; they sent too few steel chassis rails, so there is one order that will be slightly delayed (that person should have an email explaining what is up.)

I have a steel chassis. While I don't have plans to weld to it in the immediate future, the little bit of extra weight is nice. My chassis is set up for a Weekend Warrior type rig, basically built to go on hikes with me instead of my hardcore wraith. Eventually, this will get an expedition trailer as well.

Loving my chassis!! It's taken some pretty hard tumbles so far and nothing has happened.

I ordered a bunch of part off his site this week. No clue if they are actually in stock or not.
But I am hoping this doesn't screw me over for east coast scale nats cause I need them asap to get the builds done.

You order is partially in stock, and I will do my best to get the parts to you as quick as I can. The main delay will be the Chassis' you ordered. With the waterjet company I was using taking forever, I am shopping other shops to see who can get the order filled in a timely manner without charging me an arm and a leg.

Nats are 8/22 - 8/24, right?

I tried to send you a pm... you have too many though.
I would like to forgo the chassis for now if that is what's holding up the order.

i really like the idea of chopping off the rear shock towers on this and welding in a custom shock mount for a Mojave bed.

the question I have is since the frame rails are raised up, is a Mojave or other drop beds out of the question with this chassis bc of the raised rails

I don't know for sure, but from what I have seen, most of the drop beds sit right on the rails, so with the raised rails, the bed would have to sit a little higher up. This may not be true for all drop beds though.

Due to the relatively low volume of orders for these, they are available, but not typically kept in stock.

If you want a set, once you have a paid order, the rails are sent to be cut and then shipped as soon as they are done.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Aluminum rails are ordered. I take it they are not in stock and still need to be cut. Just let me know.

Do you mean the wraith adapters to the Karnage rails, or the Wraith rails I was working on?

Email sent, but for those that may also be wondering, the next batch has already been sold through, but another order is on the way soon.

This mostly depends on those organizing the event you enter in. As far as I am aware, for anything running SORRCA rules, this chassis is legal for Class 2 as long as all the other rules in the appropriate section are followed (Wheelbase, etc.)
