Default ToyZuki's angled skid scx10 chassis

ToyZuki's Fabrication is excited to release
a cool new upgrade for the scx10
This is designed to bolt up to all your stock components and therefore should work with all your aftermarket components as well.
These are made from a composite called G10. Supposed to be stronger than carbon fiber.
Here's a list of what has changed from a stock set of rails.
Angled skid to promote fwd movement when high centered
Integrated shock hoops for strength
Integrated servo and servo winch mounts
Raised front rail for more drag link clearance and better approach angle
Added link risers for suspension tuning and allowing you to run a flat skid (working on that too)
Added shock mounting holes to adjust your ride height
For display purposes this was mounted to a box stock rig to show how it works, but I have a few build threads with earlier prototypes showing it with bent rear links, servo mounted to the chassis, ToyZuki motor mount, soon to be released ToyZuki transfer case. I've been beating on these rigs for over a year now with great results!
$60 shipped in the continental U.S. PM me for international shipping quotes

Also still have these available in aluminum. Have had a few requests for steel too. If I get enough interest I will cut a batch in steel, but their 13.5oz in steel. We will have to get a head count and discuss something thinner than .125

I'd think in steel you could get away with 14 maybe 16 gauge. I will be watching though.
I'm in the same boat, I have 2 builds going and would like a new C1 before Nats. Not sure how much I'll be able to actually drive there though...

Plexi----------------------1.8oz

Delrin/Alum hybrid------ 2.5oz

G10-----------------------3.6 oz

Aluminum ----------------4.5 oz

steel---------------------13.5 oz

G10 is black, lighter, has the same rigidity if not more than the Aluminum and most of all sexy

Disclaimer: So Toyzuki doesn't get bombarded with requests---Only alum and G10 are currently available, the others were R and D.

I have a C3 in the works and a C2 I never did a build thread for with the Ally Chassis. The C2 pulled 3rd in Class3 at the 2014 RC4WD Scale Challenge.

Very nice work.I to have some future project this winter.....
One particular rig is a 6x6 tow rig any thoughts on making chassis rails for a 6x6.

I edited the post on weight. It should have been ounces, not grams.

I have made a few for people but they are very hard to ship. The regular chassis is a 17" long flat package.

I did one out of .125 mild steel and it was over 13oz of sprung weight. I'll make a few more out of thinner material and see what happens.

Can you show a pic with the tranny installed and how it affects the drive shaft angles? Looks like it would help the front but increase the output angle even more on the rear.

Here's a pic of mine running MIP shafts with the 5mm extended out drive on the trans side. WB is set at 12.3"

Check out the links in the first post. Plenty of pictures of finished rigs!

Checked out the carbon ones last weekend at East Vs. West scale comp, they look great - i already have a aluminum one on my class 1 build and it's great.
