You mean the longer shafted ball studs? They are from the stock Trail Trekker. One of the changes from McRC to TT. I have a stock of 3D printed parts now. I can ship full kits. veryfungi@gmail.com |

"Carefully cut out the hood and roof panels then drill the holes. Us a .06" (1/8") drill bit. Install them using the included 0-80 x 1/8" screws (9). After you have them fit properly you can paint them." The above is gleened form your post, I assume you mean a 1/16 drill bit ? |

I just have to give a huge shout out to shapeways, I just received my free replacement chassis yesterday. It was perfect this time around! So now I've got two chassis' for the price of one. They were easy to deal with and totally made up for it! Now I'll have to order another set of sub rails.

Jim, can you give me a bit more info on the battery you used ? The manufacture and c rating would be great. I really like how you have everything hidden... My batteries are to large, looking to order new ones. Why reinvent the wheel when you have done the leg work. Did you build a tray to hold and secure it ? If so, what's the chance of a few pics of the details of that area. |

I have a picture in the build showing where I stuffed the battery. It's a 180mAh Lipo, nothing special. I just used a couple pieces of double sided tape on each end and wedged it in between the sub chassis rails.

Thanks for the reply, I am still curious as to who makes the 180mh battery and the C rating. I want to follow your lead and get the same bat in the same location with no hic-ups

I'm wanting to buy the specter "full kit" $69 - SP-KT - Specter Full Kit"as well as the links kit to use with my Trekker. However when I go to their website there isn't a purchase button anywhere for the full kit and the links. Anyone know how to purchase these kits? I've sent an email to the contact information on their website, but haven't heard anything back! REALLY dying to get my hands on my own kit!!! Thanks! -Clint -Clint |
