Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II what about the panhard mount? |
Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II Quote:
1. Cut the panhard mount from the stock shock towers & add a spacer to the panhard link to keep the axle centered. 2. Upcoming JCAD SSR-II Panhard mount that keeps the original link length and clears the servo horn. 3. With the Steel version of the chassis, you can fabricate your own mount and weld/braze it on. |
Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II Can we get a side view of shop rig? |

Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II Just wanted to share what I came up with using the scx10 ii axles and stock panhard chassis mount. http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psaxvytuzz.jpg http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psas13ym3d.jpg http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psgmsv8nsw.jpg http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/a...psqxle1xu6.jpg |

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...pszk24ytzn.jpg Keep in mind this chassis is a little different from the production version. There have been a few tweaks to it based on the prototype. Quote:

Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II How are you suggesting people mount the bodies being the stock shock towers actually sit directly over the frame rails, so cutting them and bolting them to frame rails forces you to have to add new holes to body. "GOD SPEED" |

Great question x2 |
Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II The first batch of rails is in, and I'll be getting these mailed out tomorrow! For the shock towers, really, you will have to drill new holes. For the SUV type bodies (like the stock XJ body) the posts are a set distance apart, so it isn't as easy as just cutting up the stock shock towers. You will need extended length body posts. I am planning on creating a solution that may work, but I have to test it out before I release anything. Stay tuned! |
Re: JCAD Karnage SSR-II - High Clearance Chassis for SCX10-II Sweet! Will we get a tracking # when our rails ship? Is like to put mine to use asap. Ty Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |
