Default **Jp Customs Ultimate Clod Knuckles**

Alright I'm back from my trip and have the ball rolling on these. New inner bearings will be ready in a few weeks or less. Every Dealer as these ready to ship. Which includes. The Crawler Store, Xtreme Rc Hobbies, RCP.... AND of course Jp Custom Rc's.

The Ultimate Clod Knuckles $44.99 With bearings (1pr) www.jpcustomrcs.com

The CVD bearing kits will be sold has a 2pcs set untill the New Inner bearings are in.

Guys running stock axles still need to run both inner and outer Bearings. This is due to the axles being two pieces. The inner bearing keeps the outer axle from sliding out. www.jpcustomrcs.com

Don't forget to to check out my New website and other products.

Pimp Cane Chassis, Shocks, TLT-1 and High-Lift knuckles, Bearings, Servo's, Motors, DUD Switchs, Plugs, Clod upgrade kits, Scale parts, Servo Horns, CVD's, Lockers, Straight axles and More

Those bearings are huge as JP shows in the other thread. They are definitely over spec'd. I am running just one on the outside with no issues.

JP,
Knuckles worked great...driver didn't...:-(

You can only do that with CVD's...I have the new inner bearings being made now. The stock axle are two pieces and have to have both inner and outer bearings. That's what keeps the outer axle from walking out the hub. CVD's are one piece and the inner bearing isn't really needed..

The Inner bearings ETA is 7-14 days.

Here are some New Pic's with the Gold Knuckles, Hot-Racing Axle Tubes and TTR CVD's. With a Little work on the axle tubes I maxed out the CVD's before the knuckles even touch anything.

Finally got the cells on. I am running 6 on the knuckles and will have a 2 cell booster if needed.

Those grooves make it so much easier to put these things together.

Thanks again.

They are RC4WD's 12mm to 23mm. I was hoping to not need them but I have had success with the wide stance on our terrain. I will see how they go. The wheels were narrowed pretty good so no space there.

I thought they looked narrowed. How much did you take off the inside of the wheel?

I have checked a few things and seems like you need a full inch of extra width to run the axial 40 series wheels. I am waiting on my cells from holmes to mount them up. I first tried the 12mm wideners by integy but they are just not enought. anyone know of a 25mm wheel widener to mount a 8mm shaft for 17mm hex? I haven't been able to find one which leaves using my RC4WD wideners with the sucky plastic CVD hex.

You can use Double sided tape to space them away from the knuckles for more room. If you have it. Also you can slide the batteries out as well. It will put your battiers at an angle, but with double sided tape and a Heavy Duty Zip tie. There not going any where.

I used a combination of ShoeGoo and Zip Ties. The Goo on the knuckles and then placed the already assembled packs. Two Zip Ties to make sure that if one breaks there is another. I also ShoeGoo'd them on the bottom and top to eliminate sliding.

The groove are made for 1/4in Heavy Duty Ties. I will have them on my website soon if you can't find them local... $1.50 for 2 Ties Shipped.

please keep me informed if you find a way to use the axial wheel i also posted a thread about this exact problem and can not find a 17mm adapter that is 1 inch wide nobody makes them and it seems nobody wants to make them. there are 1 inch wide adapters for a stock clod hex but not for the 17mm hub on a ttr 8mm axle

If I had a set of Axials Beadlocks I'd figure it our for ya. Where are the batteries touching on the wheel? If you can post a pic I might be able to help.
