Shot a quick pic. The K2-3x chassis have the same finish as these sweet black J2-TTs do.

Hi Pinch.. I recently bought a J2-TT chassis.. my first build (from a WK).. I used Trax. pushrods for the lower links (5319x).. 50/50 setup...then i used jato turnbuckles for the upper links 61mm. right now im using the stock WK shocks.. I have losi crawling shocks on the way.. my concern is ... is 4 inches from the skid to the ground too high? its seems to sit pretty high up.. Would shorter shocks be in order.. i was trying to follow your build.. i think you used 3.5" t-maxx shocks or something. in order to lower ride height , what do you do.. shorter shocks? longer lower links.?. any help would be appreciated.. im going to take a bunch of pics to show you also.. Thanks for the chassis.. its very nice.. im also concerned about my upper link mounts.. not sure how stable they are.. i will post pics.. I want something like the VF upper link mounts, but cannot find them:(

I did use 3.5" shocks with TLT & AX-10 axles. 4" center clearance seems a bit high. I would think 4" shocks would be just fine. You could always run a bit of sag by running shorter sprigs also. I you use the Losi shocks you can adjust the hight with the treads. The upper link mounts on the chassis or the axles? I'm not really familiar with WK axles. Our STL plates are for the TLT & Axial only. I also am only aware of the VF mounts.

hey Pinch get this.. Once i got my stock WK shocks adjusted, my skid clearance from the ground ended up at 3.7"... a little better.. this was my first build, and with a novak rooster esc and 55T , i successfully OUT crawled my buddy with his mostly stock axial ax-10.. so needless to say i was very happy.. I just want better upper link mounts to the axle... Very happy with your chassis.. I am hooked on this now..

By the way, which do you prefer.. the TLT axles or the Axials? Just curious, i may switch out these WK ones .. Those STL plates look nice

That's excellent! I'm glad you are happy with it.

Since I have gone to Axial Axles I have really been impressed with them. Now all I use TLTs for is scale rigs.

I have a few last ones left but they are not black. $55 free shipping in the US until the last ones are gone.
