3. DO NOT do brushless on a crawler. The torque would be nice but there is NO braking with brushless. Not a good choice. Brushless is really built for speed.
4. If you are running XFactor axles, I would JB weld the shafts and couplers. I would also run the biggest tire available, like the Kongs or BFT's because, due to the width of the axles, you will get the diffs
hung up quite a bit.

I gained one inch just by removing those stupid rubber spacers! The one thing I did notice it the front and rear bumpers barly hit the front and rear skid plates now. t is not very much though. And I do not plan on jumping this TXT so I do not see any need for those.

Should I be embarrased to write about such a rookie find?

I cut up a pair of Maxx chassis rails and used the center sections to mount the box to the side plates. Had to relocate the front upper arms to the outside of the chassis, as there's no room for the crossmember with the new tranny.

the new tranny hangs down about 3/8 inch lower, which kind of sucks. but having a 2-speed rules. and with a single Titan motor, it should last forever. and there's a lot less friction than with the belt and tensioner.

tested today and WOO HOO does this thing climb.
