**Vendors please look! 2.2 Clod/Txt rims**

Dear vendors please read this!;),

Its just an idea but,
There is a serious need of zero offset rims for those that run 2.2 clods and txt's.
'The stalker' rims are nice and reduce you trackwidth quite a bit but they have offset and we dont want that really:|.
Here are some pics how a 2.2 clod beadlock should look from what i think:
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g1.../Beadlock3.jpg
you can see its very deep and only 1 inch wide just like other known beadlocks.

Its also dual purpose because of the cut-trough hex on it.
When you mount the plate on the outside its suited for clods and if you place it on the other side its an 100% offset rim.

I've got no plans on producing them or make these but it will be nice if a vendor look in this and get some ideas:D

thanks for looking,
Mischa

Just one more

Yeah it would be nice to have a set of "blingin" beadlocks with the mounting flush to the outside, like the HPI wheels I run.."thumbsup"

I would really like to see a aluminum beadlock/rim with zero offset. I have yet to find a plastic rim that holds up to crawling. Could really care less about the bling, I want the function!

Please vendors!!!

yeah we all know that 2.2 clods can spin hexes very well:lol:
We need some Beefcake!

Just an alu dish wheel would be great!
maybe some non beadlock wheels for those who dont wanna spend all the cash on them like these:

Visionary Fab make an awesome all aluminum beadlock wheel with hardly no offset. I have a set that I run on my 2.2 clod. They are called stalkers.

Yep"thumbsup"

If I remember right, with my 2.2 clod the stalkers put me at 12.25" wide...Under the 12.5...that is all I need. Any more offset you will have rubbing issues. From front of wheel to hex face is only .25"...

666 01-14-2008 04:36 AM

They put me at 11", and I could go up to a 1/2" more.

Not running CVDs I assume...

You are running CVD's and still can get that narrow...what are your secrets?

Thundertech cvd's no less. What I do, I drill out the stock brass hex to 8mm, drill a cross pin hole. Then I take the cvd stub axle out and drill a hole further in. Get what I'm saying?

This is a wheel I came up with about 16 months ago. After testing and modifying, I am getting ready release them. Look for them here in the next 30 days.

I get sloppy seconds... :-P

Both aluminum and delrin, the little secret a lot of people don't want to let out the bag is both materials are on about the same level as far as cost and machine ability. I am going to be posting up some pics of something cool today that you guys might be interested in....
