Looks like me trying to fly one... except at the end I would have had to chase it more and then a spectacular crash.

Not too exciting for somebody that don't know,
But I bet you were at "full pucker" trying to hover in that wind
Good Job,
I'll be stickin' to the CX2 for now...

Nice isn't it?

From that video you can see how well the gyro keeps heading in the wind. Good stuff.

I have an Align T-Rex 450 SE V2 that I need to get in the air.

Got it from a guy that built it but it's missing three screws.

Once I get those screws she'll go in the air.

I've been thinking about a Blade 400 just for the fact that it's RTF and inexpensive for what you get.

My first heli, 8 yrs ago, was a nitro Raptor 30. Now that was scary to learn nose-in!

nice! sounds like you were flying in normal mode, i never heard it transition to idle up just before lift off.
i too have a T-rex 450S. i need to get back airborn, been having fun with foamies lately. a LOT less stressful flying.
time for nose in! its not that hard. then start with figure 8s.
