Why do these companies keep insisting on having square roofed bodies for crawlers?? Fricken ugly....

I wish that for the sake of my sanity Pro Line would release a NEW STYLE Chevrolet truck body for the Stampede...my old one is worn out That Humvee blows.

| Don't get me wrong I think it is great that they are making products for crawlers. I just think it is a waist of their resources to design and produce something that cost way more than it is worth. Now if they were $10, maybe.

Most courses,on average are 10 gates in all. It takes 20 cones if you don't have a start gate, boundary markers and a bonus section at the end. I feel it'd be better if they sold them in packs of 30 cones for about $25. It's hard to beat the price of tennis balls. I know others feel the same on this as well.....Visabillity is a key factor here. Are there arrows on those cones? Oh,I couldn't see them Change the colors up a bit. Don't get me wrong,Prolines doing a good job. I feel a few small changes in a few areas would really take it a step higher. :cough:40 series Badlands:cough: :cough:M3 rubber for crawler tires:cough: :cough:ditch the pleazer front ends:cough: Last edited by Reflection; 01-16-2008 at 09:40 PM. |

I agree.. I am not about to blow over $150 on gate markers that get lost easily. Hell, my dog would end up using them as a chew toy I can get more than enough tennis balls to do 2 courses for less than $20. Then use a $2 marker to put gate #'s and arrows on them, that you can actually see. As John stated, it is great that a company such as proline is doing stuff like that, but he also knows the way consumers are. If they can find an alternate way to do the same thing for cheaper, they will. If they want to keep the markers blue, cool.. But put numbers 1-10 on them and put arrows on the other side. Then make the arrows and numbers white.. Then sell the whole thing as a course gate kit for $20-$30..Course designers could use something else for starting gates if they need to.

Hey if you guys want scale gate markers here you go: http://www.tapcostore.com/Mini-Cone-p/694-2.htm These guys make signs (like street signs, stop, streetnames, etc...) for municipalities we work for. I design guide signs and different things of that nature for traffic signals and I was browsing there catalog and found those. For a buck a piece they aren't bad. We hand them out at carear fairs and stuff. |

So are you saying that a Proline tire will win the Nationals this year in the 2.2 class?

Hate to tell you this but you actually have to compete to get in at the nationals.

To clairify "I'll be the one with all the first place prizes." Does that mean that Proline has stepped up and decided to give prizes for the event, and you are the delivery boy, or do you think you are actually going to win. |
