Default anybody tried google sketch it

its like a 3d cad program but free and more simple than a real 3d cad program.
its fun and easy to use though this is my first time modeling something and i tried to make an axle like a txt axle but for 2.2 size . it kind of sucks but i think its ok for a first try
im thinking about taking the classes for real machining and learning cad programs because ive always enjoyed making stuff and the k-mart job is not exactly the best job ever lmao

It is a good tool to use to learn the basics of modeling (simplifiying complex shapes into numerous simple shapes). It is also good for people who just need to get something out of thier head visualize it, paper just dosen't cut it lots of the time.

I been trying it since yesterday but got fed up with it because it keeps locking up my puter. But when I did get to use it, it was pretty good.

I got it a few weeks ago and I love it, no previous cad experience or anything but I'm using it to suss out a scaler I've got on my dream list, trying to make this:

and I've gotten this far:

Those are (roughly) AX-10 trannies in it, and I've added Tamiya Hummer wheels:

It's really helpful for me in figuring out what is and isn't going to fit, even though my measurements may be off by a millimeter or two. One of these days I may graduate to a real CAD program, but it serves my needs well for right now. Big bonus for me is that it's free.
