I can't believe the kind of stuff people come up with these days.

You gotta read the "clutter hoarding scale." Just download the ".pdf" and read the scale first then read the descriptions, pretty funny stuff.

Enjoy."thumbsup"

my Ex's grandfather was a hoarder, he was a kid in the 30's and as an adult refused to throw anything away, he was at the point when he died that he was stealing things from the neighbors trash, one instance was a week after Thanksgiving when the Ex went to the fridge and ate some pumpkin pie, and commented to her mom that she didn't remember there being one there before,I was in the neighbors trash.

His house was a "recycled" schoolhouse, the living room was clean, half of the master bedroom was useable, the other 4 rooms in the house had a path just wide enough to walk through. Floor to ceiling with old news papers, books, dishes etc. He had his own steel scrap pile in the back yard, next to the 3 cars that broke down 19 years ago, and the Guest house was so full of crap that the subfloor collapsed into the crawlspace"thumbsup"

Heh, you ask any of the local crawlers, I'm just this side of being one of those crazy hoarders, especially in my garage. My wife helps me keep it in check, but if it were up to me, I would never throw anything away and I hate selling/getting rid of stuff. I don't know where I get it from but I've dealt with it most of my life.

It even extends into what I carry in my pockets. I usually have a good 4-5 lbs of stuff on me at all times (mp3 player, phone, couple pocket knives, 4-8 pens, usb/cf cards, and just about anything else I "need" at the moment. Of all my quirks, that's probably my least annoying. :)

Same goes for my computers. I recently added 3TB of storage to my home computer (4 750gb drives). Some of that is for backing up digital versions of comics, the rest will probably be for miscellaneous crap I download.

Ahh well, I guess I'll just have to find somewhere else to store that Losi 8 I just bought off someone here. :)

Funny how that plonkmedia is just a redirect to the SA archives. I remember when that goon first posted the thread. I replied on page 10 talking about my bookkeeping business. hehe

Dang, that was a while ago.

Think I should email that link to my predecessor.. he was a slob. Couple shots of the office before I cleaned it.

I know several people who are afflicted with this compulsion and it's a huge problem for them it's very sad. They are embarrassed by their own behavior and helpless to change it. :-(:-( They simply can't get rid of anything that might at some point in time be used, problem is when the time comes they can't find it.
