|  Is anyone into Drag Racing?
I've been drag racing since I was eleven in junior dragsters, and when i turned 18 i jumped in the seat of a 67 Chevy II Top Sportsman with a 632BBC and 3 stages of Speedtech NOS that I ran in quick 8s, and I am now 19 and running in Div 3 Top Dragster in a 2006 Spitzer 272" Top Dragster with the same 632" BBC and Speedtech NOS. Im hoping to move into either Pro Mod or Top Alcohol Dragster within the next two years. I was all for going and spectating then they turned LACR into a gravel pit. They closed carlsbad. I heard terminal island was great. Irwindale is only an 1/8th. Then there is mopars drag city still under construction..... I guess the only action to be had are the illegals in Compton. I'm not about to go to jail and get my car impounded just for spectating. Edit: My bitching aside. Those are some nice cars but if/when I have the time and money to invest into a racing hobby it will be more along the lines of a scca club car. Holy Sweet Nova Batman! My GF's dad drove a Nova II in the Super Chevy Series for a long time, then switched to Top Fuel 91 Corvette. Unfortunately Bandimere speedway was his last and fastest run.... |

sos tang killa if ya aint a ford lover what are ya CHEVY ???? i am a chevy fan hate fords takes turbos and nitrious to beat a smallblock chevy specially when its a stroker motor
