| chevy guy's advice needed
i aquired an older 350 small block from a friend and my original intent was to rebuild it and use it in some kind of project or sell it. but as i started tearing it down i realized it was going to take more work than it was worth. so i was wondering if it would be worth it to sell all the parts that are still good like the complete heads, intake manifold, crank and cam shaft, and i have two carbs. if i cleaned them up and repainted them would it be worth the effort or when things like this need to be replaced does everyone go with aftermarket? judging buy the stamped number on the back of the block i figured its from 1969-1979 vintage.

i'm not going to use the engine for anything. when i took the heads off i found the cylinders had water in them and one was broken and there was a huge hole in the cylinder wall. thats why i was asking about selling the heads, and intake and stuff like that.
