Blackberry Curve and Avi Movies

I just got a Blackberry Curve. I don't know much about it. But from what I've read you can watch movies on it. Right?

I'm sure I'm not the only one with one here. Does anyone know of a program that will convert avi Movie files to play on the BB Curve?

I've done some searching and downloaded a few different programs all with zero help. Any help would be great.
