This is Rally America though...very lame in comparison to WRC rally racing.

I wasnt even aware they were doing rally racing in the states. I've had the opportunity to attend Rallye Deutschland 3 times now. Its a lot of fun. Totally different from any race I had ever seen before.

Cristiano da Matta hit a deer at road america near my house last year and the results were alot worse. He was testing a champ car when he hit the deer.

That was sweet. About 8-9yrs. ago I was doing a run with one of my buddies in his fully loaded 18wheeler and we came around a corner doing 50-55 and came across a herd of cattle that were in the road. It was like hitting 9 geo prizms at once. The crazy part abut it is that here in montana we have free range laws so the driver is responsible for the dead cattle on top of his totaled truck

if you search on youtube you can find the video of one of mitsubishi drivers hitting a cow in the WRC a few years back, i forget who was driving at the time.

if you hit a cow at the Rock Creek cattle company condos its a $12,000 fine each on top of the normal cost
