Default Starting a new job tomorrow

I just gave my notice this past Friday at my old job. I start my new job tomorrow! My boss was not too pleased with me The new job has better opportunities and better pay, so when I found out I got the job last Thursday night and they wanted me to start this Monday there wasn't much I could do. Besides my boss was a dickhead to me anyways.

I'm a little nervous seeing how I have not had to start a new job since 2000 when I was 18. The only real downside is I'm going from a 7 min drive to a 45 min drive.

I'm going to be working with C&Cs at www.jakebrake.com I'm planning on working my way up to mechanic like I did at my past job.

This is a union shop, I've never worked in one before. Have any of you? It is the UAW auto workers union.

I'll shut up now, I just figured I'd share

I too am starting a new job this week. I was working at a Chevy dealership, but there was so little work coming through the shop I couldn't make any money. I'm really excited, but I too am taking a 6 mile commute and turning it into a 15 mile commute . Good luck to you.
