Default Tornadoes hit AR, TN, KY

Storms also ripped through western Kentucky, killing at least three people at a mobile home park in Muhlenberg County, emergency management officials said. State emergency spokesman Buddy Rogers said a state of emergency has been declared in the county and Kentucky National Guard troops have been deployed.

For those that don't know, Muhlenberg County is where Green River is located, and the area is known for meth labs.

That would explain why the National Guard was called in.

There's probably meth everywhere.

Anyway, hope all the RCC'ers and their families are safe.

It just went through our area.

Although we didn't get any twisters in our area, that I'm aware of,and it wasn't as severe....it was a hell of a storm. I thought the roof was gonna blow away. The only good news I've heard from this storm is destroying a good deal of the meth freaks labs.

The storm destroyed our crystal meth silos down here. I'm waist deep in meth right now, wading to work has never been so intense and fun.

EDIT: Scan me!

Thanks for asking Chip!!! I'm fine but wow what a wind. Ripped the cover off my boat parked in the back yard. Lots of damage in the area, trees down and roofs ripped off in some places, and large road signs for motels down also in lexington. Glad that night is over. The wife and I and the dog spent about 45 minutes in the basement waiting out the storm.

I am on the north end of the storm, nothing as bad as that but we are up to about 16 inches of snow already

Yeah it got pretty nasty at home, I haven't been able to find out who the three folks that died where. From what I've heard only the really redneck tailor park part of the county got hit hard, and that explains a lot of the damage.

We really didn't get anything in Louisville, but I know my folks spent the night in the basement.

Right in the middle of it, lost power for a couple hours and only now got cable and internet back, but that is not a big deal b/c just an hour west and north of me, I'm in Little Rock, complete towns were wiped off and one had a family of three killed. It was rough last night. I'll post a pic of the tree, which towers over utility poles by about 30', that was uprooted just 20' from my bedroom window and left a hole big enough for me to lay down in and also knocked down another tree as it fell. Sure glad the wind was blowing west, b/c if not, it would be in my bedroom right now. I'll post pics when its light.

Late.

As of now they say we had 19 Tornadoes in Kentucky. They are still trying to determine if there could have been a couple more. The professionals are still investigating to see if other damage was strait line winds or Tornadoes. Either way it was a bad night for many people. Tennessee's Union College was hit really bad.

One of the few things I don't really miss about living in Missouri.

We've had a constant 25 mph wind with gust up to 65 today but thats nothin.
