#1 Their son did this to himself. He picked up the alcohol and poured it into the hole above his chin. This is his stupidity #1. A rider who drinks and drives is just as stupid as someone in a car/truck. #2 Helmet law changes what? Do they understand the laws currently? Do they understand how the US is lagging years behind the Euro standards for helmet design? Still it wasn't a head injury that killed this guy...well if having a lack of sense or a brain and then riding a motorocycle illegally is a brain injury this guy was injured. #3 I'm a rider and I understand the rules of the road and my riding skill. I never once attended a week long safety class. I have this thing called common sense. I can think about drinking means no way I'm riding home. I can think speeding is best left to the track.

totally agree!! The only time I speed on public roads or do stunts is when my buddy's at the local highway patrol office shut down a local backroad in the middle of no where where you might see 2 cars all day so that we can do stunts and high speed runs without putting anyother people at risk!!

Damn that was nasty, kinda sounds like a train-dumptruck wreck Dad witnessed in '97 at US Steel's Gary Works. Dump truck driver hauling a load of "coke" tried beating a Metra train running 70 or so mph and got his rig torn from under the trailer. IIRC the truck was in more pieces than the above motorcyclist, and I'm not to sure if the trucker was either come to think of it, one of his arms was still attatched to the wheel in the cab |
