Default 1:1 Subaru Brat question...

do any of you guys know if the 1:1 Subaru Brats were IFS/solid axle rear suspension, or were they independant suspension all the way around?

just being curious. thanks for any info you can offer...

If memory serves, and don't hold me to this, but the brat, except for the last year or maybe two that it was made, was solid rear, indpendent front.

Wow, here I am digging up something long-dead, but . . .

The BRAT was always independent front and rear. I know of one that was converted to solid rear, though. The same one had previously done the Rubicon with little more than a 3-4" lift, some Swampers, and a mildly warmed-over stock engine (1.8l pushrod).
