Engineering Question of the Day How much does a house weigh? Answer: More than a rural two lane bridge can hold! I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION......... WOULD THIS BE COVERED BY HOUSE INSURANCE, CAR INSURANCE OR IS IT UNDER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ????????????????????????????? And the last one with commentary Is it me, or does that riverbank look like a great place to have a crawler get together??????????????????? Looks like there's a crapper and kitchen within a short walk Last edited by BJoe; 03-02-2008 at 09:52 PM. |

I'm not to sure about that. If you think thats a good crawling spot you need to go explore some REAL rocks.

now that they got it to this situation. How will they remedy this?? a crane could possibly do it...or pile rocks underneath in the creek til they can just drive it off

I think the value of the house doubled since it has waterfront.

That's a really big house to move on one set of double axles. I'm surprised it didn't split in half just from it's own weight when they put it on the axles. They must have braced the hell out of the base. Yeah, cleanup on that mess won't be fun. House is probably totaled now, you can see it's cracking in a couple pictures. |

There is another set of dollies fallen off underneath the house on what used to be the road surface. Still a big load.

If you look close there are actually 2 sets of axles that have fallen out from underneath it. I'd really like to see how they ended up getting that out of there. |
