Default SNOW in TEXAS! (pics)

woke up this morning to see everything covered in this white fluffy stuff, googled it up, and apperantly this stuff is called "snow" and is quite common in other parts of the world! who knew? ya learn something everyday
couldnt pass up the opportunity so i grabed the scaler and headed out to the back yard before work. highlifts didnt work too well, but i didnt have time to mount up the slingers.

I still cant believe it snowed here though. I didnt think it would, especially that much.

There's supposed to be quite a few inches dropped this afternoon/evening for sounthern ohio and northeastern kentucky...upto 20 inches here in eastern kentucky........Atleast that's what the rumor was lastnight and early this morning....I don't believe the kentucky weathermen though...."90% chance of rain today." And not a drop in sight..."10% chance of rain today." And it pours...lol, Oh-well...I miss ohio...

I lived above Amarillo TX back in the early 80's. They got almost 4ft of Snow with 7 ft drifts. We had to go around and dig people out. They had no idea what to do.

We ended up with 9" here in Bridgeport TX. Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic. The digital camera is dead. I haven't seen this much snow here in 20 Years. Bubba the Body Builder Snowman is 6' 6" tall! Here he is with his little buddy Chico! Enjoy!
