I would really like to know what everyone has against the square straight axle adapters. Is it a look thing or is it everyone thinks because it is square it will get caught on stuff easier. I have had the square version all winter and have never got hung by them. There isn't even a scratch on them. They never come in contact with anything.

i got the square ones from ckrc and i like them. cosmetically maybe the round ones are better but mine don't cause any problems and work just as good.

Seems that in this hobby many vendors have a hard time keeping the shelves stocked. Plus, with new product constantly coming out, they probably don't want to be left with "yesterday's goods"...

thats so true, but people still need "yesterdays goods" and they "venders" will have to notice this , or lose customers

I like the square shaped ends for TLT axles, as it carrys the shape of the axle. This is I desined them to be square. On the axial and wk axles I would rather have round adapters. It is amazing how many options are out there for these adapters now, considering I made the original prototypes for the TLT back in November 2006

I just got some RCP rounded ones for the TLT, they look kinda cool, almost like a toothpick axle or something!

X2 I have never tried the square ones but I know mine have a few scratches that I believe would have hung me up......it just depends on what you crawl on IMO.
