Ya my wife said it went out last night right after Midnight. So I guess something with that update screwed it up. I've already tried unistall and reinstalled it. Even a System restore and a new install. Nothing... Starting to piss me off...:(

Check your firewall? I'm using zonealarm, and every time firefox updates it asks me if it is ok to allow firefox to access the internet. Just a thought.

| Ya I was deleting some old programs and noticed my Firewall was off so I turned it back on. Well I guess doing all that I some how reset my Zone Alarm program. Everything is working 100% better. My computer was a deal I got from a buddy for $200 bucks. I've been limp'ing it along for over 2yrs now. When I got it had 8 virus. So I had to clear everything and start from scratch. It's a Compact, but I did have any of the software for it. I ended up using Dell software to reboot the whole thing. Not sure if that can hurt anything, but it's been working pretty good for a $200 computer... Someday I'll fork over the dough for a Nice Mac... |
