Stylin! Since Mom can no longer dress our young adult daughters, she has victimized the dog.

Dogs will fight through pain to be obedient and by your side. I am a dog lover (animals generally), and I would pet every dog I see if I could. Cheeto was the goodest boy when it came to doing anything for mom, always at her feet everywhere she went. He would only take fresh food from mom, but he would always get pets and massages from me. He wasn't fixed so any chance he got, he would bolt out that front door and go on a pissing spree with my ass chasing him down. Ah... Good times eh.

Well, I come home from work today and he isn't with us anymore as he had to be put down... RIP to this little buddy, living pain free now. You'll be deeply missed... <3

Man goro, sorry to hear that. Sometimes that’s the hardest thing to do but it needs to be done. I’ve got a little mutt I’ve had about 5 years, she’s a pain sometimes but I love her to death and dread the day she won’t be here anymore.

Really sorry for your loss, Goro Majima.

Probably sounds weird but I guess if nothing else, I'd rather we be forced to live without them than visa-versa. Shelters break my heart. Glad that your boy had a loving home to be a part of.

Goro, thank you for being one of the good guys! My dogs, past and present, are as important as anything in my life. Mine have always been “unique”, and I’ve always felt lucky that they chose my family over another that might not have accepted them for what they are. Not in our lives long enough, but in our hearts for eternity.

Thanks for the words fellas. I'm in the residential appliance installation industry so I get to see everyone's pets that I visit. I can always chat up a storm with the home owners and renters and it's always a treat to hear their stories, whether they rescued or paid a couple grand for their dog/cat. I had a lady get emotional about her Chihuahua she had 10 years ago since I brought up our dog.
