Default The New Fishing Season Has Begun !

so far i went out trout fishing (stream) and for bullhead. had no luck the 2 time we went for trout but we caught alot of bullhead and some others including a channel cat ( 1 1/2 lb) and a mud puppy. we seen a bald eagle as well which was prolly the coolest to date.

I stopped taking my digital camera after I nearly dropped it in the drink
Just use the camera on my cell phone now, not the best pics, but its proof

Fishing season in Oklahoma is tough so far this year. Most lakes are up 20-30 feet due to all the rain we've been getting and delaying the spawn. Even the Sand Bass aren't running yet. I keep my boat at my families lake house on Tenkiller and its 24ft up with no accessable boat ramps :-(. Been fishing a few ponds though with good success!!

Man that sucks dude. We have been lucky so far this year and have had great weather. The lakes are nice clean and clear and the spawn has started for largemouth. I am going down to Lake Cumberland this weekend, they have drained the lake a little to repair damage to the dam. I have not had a chance to fish it since they lowered it, but I hear its the best fishing on that lake in years.

Fishing season is year round for me. Although with newborn twins I don't get out as much as I used to. Most of the rivers here are open year round and then I ice fish the lakes in the winter. My favorite thing to do is go steelhead fishing in the fall and spring. That's where it's at.
