|  Dodge Challenger...
Has anyone else seen it? We were on the road, going towards Coushatta, and I see a vitamin-c orange challenger with a black top (the new kind) pass by, with a lemans-type racecar giving chase. It was COOL to say the least!! We kept up with them for a while. The Challenger itself was an SRT-8, with MI plates. Has anyone else seen it, or any other new challengers? I am thinking it is an advertising strategy on Dodge's part, since it would have been trailered if it was heading to a show.

Oh, I see. I thought it was the same as the classic color. They sure are some gorgeous cars!! The Lemans was pulling this little U-Haul trailer, it looks like one made for motorcycles, and later, we saw a highly modified Neon, also towing one of those trailers. I wish I'd of had my camera with me in the cab.

I havent seen the production version of it, but a few years back at a Mopar car show in Vegas, i saw the concept.. and i tell you what, if i ever buy a brand new car, that will deffinatly be the one. i only wish they would use more of the old colors like panther pink, grabber green, plum crazy, etc.

Well living in Detroit I see the new SRT-8 Challengers daily to be honest. They are all production, but run for final road tests and "problem" finders. I personally find them extremely good looking, possibly the best looking American car made to date in my own personal opinion. They sound like they should too...plenty of mean rumble! I've also seen one in Plum Crazy Purple already... |

I saw them at the NY Autoshow, but havent seen one in person yet. They sold out of the SRT8's for the first year already, but I don't think the general public has taken delivery of one yet. Only "Special" people have gotten them as far as I know.
