2008 LIVESTRONG Challenge - Portland OR - 100 mile bike ride
 

My name is Edward Knight and this year I am participating in the 2008 LIVESTRONG Challenge in Portland Oregon on June 29th by riding in the 100 mile bike event and would like your support.

More than 10 million Americans are currently living with cancer, and more than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. It’s time for us to do something about this. The LIVESTRONG Challenge provides us with an opportunity to do just that.

* $10 provides information packets to 16 cancer survivors to offer support, inspiration and hope.

* $50 provides 35 people cancer survivorship information, worksheets to organize their fight against cancer and support, inspiration and hope from other cancer survivors.

* $155 provides a cancer survivor one-on-one direct support through the LIVESTRONG SurvivorCare program.

* $250 provides LIVESTRONG Survivorship Notebooks to 27 cancer survivors.
