If close calls count me and highmark were drag racing and then looked up and there was a state trooper on the other side of the road with somebody else pulled over. When we passed him I know we well I anyway was doing atleast 100 and jon was doing around 95 or so the cop just looked up and kept writing the ticket thank god.I was driving a 1997 ford aspire with 240,000 miles on it and jon was in his s10 x treme and the poor little aspire had him buy 2 car links. What can I say fords rule.

p.s. this was on a empty 4 lane highway where the speed limit was 70

My worst ticket was in a 67 VW bug. I was speeding by about 10MPH over the limit and got pulled over. It was a female cop and I was 16 or 17 I punched the windsheild after she took my license and ended up shattering it before she came back. She must have felt bad because I never got the ticket in the mail.

It's funny you start this thread because the woman got a speeding ticket this morning. It's been awhile for me but the way I drive when it happens I'll probably go to jail or the hospital.

A buddy had a race bike that didn't have a speedo so he was stoked when he got pulled over for doing 167.2. I saw the ticket when he posted bail.

A buddy of mine got arested for assult with a deadly weapon for doing 152 in a 40. The only reason he got caught was he tried to corner his mustang <---yuck at around 110, lost the rear and smacked a curb. My last ticket was 11 years ago for doing 35 in a 25 past a school, I think I had to pay about 100.00 bucks and lost one point off my DL, I know, kind of boring

mustangs have the WORST handling ever ( unless it's a svt or cobra). my friend and i raced one in his wrx wagon and the mustang spun out doing about 80 around a long sweeper.

I was doing 138 in a 40... Talked it down to 102. Just a speeding ticket, no exhibition of speed or anything else. Just a speeding ticket. Cost me 300$.

I have a way with words

When I was 18 I got one for 117 in a 55. I also ended up getting reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and attempting to elude. Cost about $600, 60 hours community service, and lost my license for 90 days.

Doing 105 in a 55 while driving a Peterbilt across Montana. The ticket wasn't for speeding but was for "Wasting Environmental Resources" aka diesel fuel. Wouldn't have been caught then if the KW I blew the doors off of would have kept quite on the radio.

I didn't get a ticket, however in a very small town, several years back, I was going 85 in a 25 and drove by a cops house. He was outside and got my licence plate and called my dad. I don't know why I didn't get a ticket, but my dad pulled my licence for a few months.

About 10 Years ago....126mph on an 86 Celica 2.0 4 banger - SOHC - 75 shot NOS. I was messing around with a mustang on the 605 Freeway here in Socal. I slowed down cause I saw the cop behind us.. The cop said I was lucky that I stopped because a 1/2 a mile down, there was a road block for us two. He did not take my car away but they did take the mustang cause he kept going. It still in my driving record.

Two weeks ago, I was doing 80mph JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE ON THE FREEWAY around 6am on a saturday morning. Cop decided to pull me over. I asked him why he dicided to pick me when everybody was doing the same speed, He said "I guess its because your car is red and it stood out" then he laughs... a**hole cop

Long time ago in my CRX I was doing 105 on Hwy 101 in california and CHP caught me. It was dark and the guy said he was going to cut me a break so when I went to sign the ticket I thought it said 75 in a 65. I thought "sweet". Woke up the next morning to find the ticket and it had 95 in a 65. What a break, NOT! Cost me $675.

Well he didn't catch me going as fast as I was orginally, but city police caught me 88 in a 35 within the city limits. I was over 100 just before topping the hill. Had been working 48 hours straight and it was 5am and i had to be up at 8am that morning. Was trying to get home to get some kind of sleep.
Got me for speeding and wreckless driving.
That whole ordeal after going to court and probation and driving course and loosing my license for too many points cost me over $1700.
I don't speed anymore.

When I was 17, on christmas day, I got clocked doing 132 in a 55. Lucky for me the
state trooper did not take me to jail. Gave me a ticket and I beat it in court. Never
drove that fast on a public road again.

well even tho this isnt speeding its still kinda funny. my friend has two minibikes and we took them out on the trails one day. in order to get to or from the trail you need to use the road. so we were coming back from riding and we noticed a cop was coming with his lights on so we pulled over figuring he was gunna jus go right by but no. he pulls up right be hind us. and where my buddy lives was litterally like another 20 feet away. so he asks us where we live and said that theyve actually been looking for us for quite some time. so the cop goes and talks to my buddies dad. the cop said that there is NO atv trails in onieda county(NY)
