So I guess I got screwed on ebay

Won an auction for a set of bft tires on ebay almost a month ago. Sent money order a copule days later. I have since recieved two e-mails from other ebay users asking if I had recieved anything from the seller yet, as they had not got their purchases. This is my first bad experience on ebay. So am I screwed out of my money, or is there something I can do?

or put a complaint against him with square trade from ebay

thats why I never deal witht that moneyorder crap atleast with paypal or a personal check you can allways trace the person to a bank account and place a complaint against them thru there.....there is also a way if you put a complaint thru ebay they will send you all his personal info like address phone # real name ...

ive been ripped of twice this year for almost $100.00 the firs guy ripped of a ton of ppl he had fake emails paypal and ebay accounts and even profiles set up....

just watch out who you do bussiness with they have a rating system for a reason..

That sucks, what was his feedback like? I havent' got screwed yet. Cept for a rooster "Worked when I pulled it out" yeah BS, the MOSFETS were molten mess. Thing had to puff out serious smoke when it went. Luckly Novak has a replacment policy.

I should have known better as this guy had no feedback, and would only except money orders. The $16.50 isn't what makes me mad, it's the I didn't get the bft's part! From now on if I can't pay with paypal, I just won't bid. His name on ebay was nitroracer383.

if you sent him a money order then you have his address, if you have that you can get his phone number and his name and we could all call him at like 4 in the morning lol.

get someone to make a fake lawsuit letter and tell him he has 24hrs from the day he recieves the letter to respond or hes going to be served.....

or just go to his house and kick his ass

Faking legal letters is not a good idea. You could get yourself in much more trouble then it's worth.

As far as Paypal goes, they used to be very good when you do not get what you paid for, not anymore. Paypal was bought by Ebay and does not do a good job in this area. Ebay has always sucked at getting your money back from cases like this and now Paypal sucks.

i read that this guy baught some hydraulic parts from a guy he met on a forum paid a little more then $400.00 and he never recieved a thing, after almost a month of getting the run around the guy got a lawyer and placed a law suit on the guy...well come court date the guy never showed up and a federal arrest warrant was placed against the guy.....im really not sure why a federal warant but any how the same day or the day after he recieved a check in the mail for the full amount and a little extra for the misshap......

That really sucks, but I just checked his feedback and it is still 0. You and the others that emailed you about him NEED to leave neg feedback. It is the only way to stop this kind of thing. These people know that most people or scared to leave neg feedback because they don't want neg feedback left for them.

That sucks man. You should definatley file a complaint with e-Bay and snce you have his adress and name you could also report him to his local PD. Not too sure if they will do anything about it but it is worth a try.

You can now request personal info and get his home phone number. Give him a call and talk to him and see whats up.

Go to the post office and notify them of the fraud. Mail fraud is a BIG thing to those guys

find the guy, show up at his door, at this time he should be getting scared because he'll know you mean business (youll probly get them), kick ass, and get your bft's. i was going to do that if the guy didnt but im a little wacked plus he lived 3-4 hrs away.

That happend to me a year ago on ebay. Except it was for almost $500. After sending the guy serveral emails and threatning to sue him. Lets just say I got my money back and a extremly applogetic letter with it. Good luck.
