I have one question, how the hell do you hit a ladder? My guess is the road wasn't getting your full attention |

| I was acctualy, well, sort of. Just not was was in front of me LOL. I had just gotten on the freeway and was in the right lane with some traffic in my lane in front of me. Well I was trying to get in the left few lanes because the toll plaza was comming up and I have "EZ-TAG" as it is called here. I was paying more attention to my side view mirror and looking over my left sholder to make sure I was clear before changing lanes using my perifrial vision to monitor the traffic in front of me. I was clear so I start changing lanes and in front of me was this mangles crap a** ladder. BAMMO!!! Done deal. Cars in front of me hit it also, was still spinning when I hit it. Damn luck! Already looked at the parts, over $350 if that is all that is wrong.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. About 5 years ago, I was getting off the freeway here and the guy in front of me swerved to avoid a cinder block. I had no time to react and ran it over in my '63. Bent both left rims and put a nice dent in the Flowmaster. Luckily there was no other damage. |

I was driving down a major highway here in Mn. late one night, half asleep when all of a sudden I see something big and round in the middle of the road, so I swerve and end up hitting something. I pull over to go check it out, and here someone had set up a metal table and chair set right in the middle of the road. I ended up hitting a chair and busting up my grille pretty good. What some people do for fun..

I hate to laugh but that is kinda funny One other time I was in the left lane of a multi lane road driving a mazda P/U with a suburban in front of me, (maybe a little close but was not going but 35-40) when he swerves into the other lane to reveal someone with their binker on trying to turn left. whammo!!! could not stop quick enough.

Hey could have been like the Undercover PO PO that hit that chick the other night. That was messed. Houston has 5.9 mil people that commute and 1/2 of them have unsecured loads. I hate the Freeway's here.

And.....in Houston, if you are going less than 70, you'd better be in the slow lane. There is always junk on the roads here. I'm glad I drive a lifted jeep!! |

While heading towards a TOLL BOOTH ...................... i always fear being the one in the news who gets the object through the windshield while driving. your lucky it was just the radiator/condensor it took out.
