| Finally!
well after getting outbid NUMEROUS times on ebay, and anting one since i was a kid, i scored a bruiser. i found someone that had one to sell, so i didnt have to bid. little more money than i had planned to spend, but hey isnt that what this hobby is all about? here are some pics before, and it will probably start getting torn down tomm. paint and polish. it needs a couple small parts, but really i just want a nice runner, so it doesnt have to be perfect. well runner isnt the best word, i really wont run this hardly ever, but i am not so anal about it being perfect |

Thet is sweet! I was just thumbing through a RCCA from 1999 today and saw an add for one of those,$ 299.99. Man, I should have bought 20 of those back then.

awesome. here's my recent vintage Tamiya find: $20 it's a 1983 vintage Audi Quattro with the wrong body. if anyone has one of these bodies (Quattro, Opel Ascona or Willie's Wheeler) let me know. scruffy is okay, i'm not going to drop big coin to outfit this thing. oddly enough, it's supposed to be a Quattro, but it's 2wd. in fact with a few variations, it's a Wild Willy 1. it drives terrible, by the way. |

| sorry
I'm sorry, it was in the December 1994 issue on page 51. I wish Tamiya still made all these scale cars and trucks |

with tamiyas re-release thing they got going on it seems like the bruiser would be on the list. it was/is a very popular model for them. but at the same time production cost would be high nowadays with the metal construction. and not to mention they would really have to fix some of the issues with the truck before a re-release.
