Default ssangyong 1997 Korando

dont feel like bringing this up in a full size crawler board, but ever since someone started driving one of these up to where i lived , i cant help thinking that there must be a way to trim off those 'wheel wells' at the front to make space for the articulation you get from a solid axle....

hack off the rear and put a bed or something in its place, and i think it will look quite nice

That ranks up on the ugly vehicles list, right below the Aztek.

Hah, Always wondered what those ssangyong junkers looked like. We build the hubs for them.

Does it have a solid rear axle?

to me, it looks like some kind of pseudo crawler

Ken Greenly (the body designer) mustve tried to give it that 'on the rocks' vibe with that dovetail effect on the bonnet, then realized that people actually need to carry stuff on the back so he left it as a standard Ssangyong economy box look
