| My weekend sucked compared to this dude.
Friend of mine just sent me an IM with the following video of what one of her co-workers did this weekend. Went to this dude's "flight school". $465 for 45 minutes. He takes off and lands. For the time in between he does anything you want to do. You ride in the front seat and tell him what to do, he flies from the back seat. He'll also teach you how to do stuff (fly aerobatics) and you can fly the plane...or you can just go up in the plane and he'll fly you around for 45 minutes. That's the altimeter on the right. |

Yeah Aerobatics are fun! My dad is building an RV7 (hot rod of planes) and we've gone up with a few guys that already built them.

i wouldve barfed 3 minutes in and wouldve just told the guy to fly straight the rest of the 42 minutes |

ever see the Top Gun "school" similar concept except you take the controls while in the air and try to "shoot down" the other guy. i looked into it once and it was around $700 an hr plus a 1 hr ground training
