looks like once you get out of the sand, traction is not an issue

Every time I see stuff like this I think I need to move. Nothing but flat land and river rock for me here. It is tough to come across good areas to have comps at but we make do.

thanks for the nice comments. its always challenging here. you hardly ever come across the same situation twice. the rocks vary from smooth surface to sharp egdes. once the rock claws hook up on sharp edged rocks this thing will climb almost vert even. but great area to really flex the suspension. ill be going again this weekend and ill post more pics and some short clips. hopefully the only other guy who has a rc crawler will join me this weekend. we are the only 2 that have crawlers here on the island.

Great vid of a finger! Now to be serious, I have many different types of terrain within a hour or two from where I am at .So far as I have found the beach has the best mix of smooth and jagged rock mixed with barnacles. That corral/volcano looking stuff looks to be the breaker of parts small and plastic! |

its a mix of sand and volcanic stuff but nah havent broke anything. the thing about gettin to this beach is you need a 4x4 to get in. so when i go i jump in my 88 samurai and head down. im a trail guy as well so its fun to tote my rig around with me. anyone know if there are suzuki samurai bodies for rc's?

Nice rig, looks similiar to some places we crawl here in Japan. Next to the beach offers some intersting terrain with different surfaces ranging from smooth to sharp edges...always a good variety! As for a Samurai body there is one due out next month here ;) |
