What software do you guy's use to edit your video's. Please don't say vista's built in movie maker. That don't work for me as I still have XP. Plus it has to be relatively inexpensive. Thanks in advance for all the help. Goz

XP has Movie Maker built in as well. Its free and works for small videos. It won't be as good as Studio 12, but its free.

I hear good things about Sony Vegas. Never used it myself though. I usually end up using friggin' Movie Maker for quickie stuff.

For the money, it doesn't really get any better than these products Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 & Adobe Premiere Elements 7 $179 - Preorder right now, but it's the next best thing to Premiere Pro. The only real difference between Pro and Elements is the ability to render out HD video, and any of the 'high end professional' features. |

I would stay away from anything made a by Pinnacle software. I had one of their movie programs and it was joke. It locked up and had errors like all the time. Going to their web page it was definitly apparent I wasn't the only one having problems. Not only that but everything was on a upgrade basis. In order to use the slo mo function I would have had to pay another $20 to upgrade. I'm currently using software put out by Sony and I absolutly love it. |
