wow that was quick. looks like your right upon research, looks like the same guy that designed, the javelin also design the 5B and ultima. |

I had one of those and an Optima Mid a few years ago. Bought at the flea market for $5 and Ebayed the hell out of them.

I too have one, minus some parts that have gotten lost over years. Used to love the noise of the chain drive

I just recently learned about the Javelin, and many other vintage Kyosho and Tamiya models. Someone somewhere posted this link. http://www93.sakura.ne.jp/~time-tunnel/index.html Lots of cool and just plain weird suspension and drivetrain designs there. |

talk about a flashback in time. i wanted a javelin sooo bad when i was a kid. eventually ended up getting a ultima pro XLalso really like the vanquish too...

i bought one from a friend and started restoring it but it was hard finding parts and gave up and sold it. nice cars.
