I saw them last night and, as always, they put on a great show!

Mikael was funny and entertaining and their new drummer was awesome!

Anyone else listen to them?

Fawk you:flipoff: I love opeth, I was really disappointed when their drummer left, he's a monster. Glad they were able to find a good replacement, those are some big shoes to fill.

has any one heard of k626, from cali. im going to a tattoo fest/concert in r.i. next week ,heard a few songs by them ,think they sound pretty good, any opinions?:?:

Saw them on the 13th. Have seen them 5 times. Actually got to hang out with them after one show in 2000 (went to Denny's), exchanged e-mails with Mikael. I usually get a mesage from him whenever they have a show in the STL area, we grabbed a quick drink after the show this year. He is one of the most down to earth people I have ever met.

His vocal range is amazing!


And the 5.1 mix of the newest album is FANTASTIC!

That is a HUGE understatement.

The first time I saw them was in 2001 (IIRC) and I was SHOCKED when I saw him singing every word. Before I saw them, I thought there were two singers...

I havent listened to Watershed much, but I liked what I heard...

If you have access to a 5.1 surround system you need to get the 5.1 mix dvd and listen to that.

It will blow your mind.

Cool, I will have to check it out. My home stereo is 5.1.... :D
