whats the deal with games needing a control pad with those gay little joy sticks they make you use in games to where you can't not use others without them sticks, i hate them joy sticks there just gay :roll: ............bob

i have a PS2 that my son gave me when he got his 360....my girl friend just bought tomb raider for PS2 and you can't play it without using those gay joy sticks instead of the D-pad buttons....the same with grand theft san andras, both games make you put back in the joy sticks....and you can't change the button layout....grrrrr.................bob

Oh you mean with the sticks on the controllers? I thought you meant PC games.

I thought the same too, but you get used to it, and once you do, you never turn back. Besides, you use the directional pad for other things like changing radio stations and guns in GTA. "thumbsup"

yeah i know that ya can do that, and i can play the games but i just hate them things :lol: ..........

on gaming consoles i actually prefer the analog sticks over the d pad. they feel much mch smoother.

but if i had the choice ide use a keyboard and mouse any day of the week"thumbsup"

all the first shooter games on PC i use the mouse/keyboard for but i like the d-pad for driving games.............bob

You can change all of that in the option menu.Just switch your control over from the analog stick to the cross pad.I prefer the analog sticks because they are easier on my thumbs.Ever since 1984 I have formed such a hard spot on the end of my left thumb that I can stick a safety pin halfway into it because of crosspads.Thats from 25 yrs of gaming and that is why I prefer the sticks

in the games we tried this in the controls configuration it doesn't allow anything but a game pad with anolog control sticks....it tells us to switch game pads to anolog..............bob

Yeah proportional control is superior in all games...D-pads are for homos.
