|  one mans trash is another mans treasure.
check this out. i get a call from my brother yesterday, hes says i have to see what he found at the dump. so all kinds of things are running through my head. so he says he found a remote control truck. he said it looks like a toyota, anyone know where this is going. so i ask him to describe it to me. bla bla bla i say sounds like a bruiser .he says what is that , i say a tamiya bruiser. i tell him it was like finding gold. so i go over to his house , sure enough it is a bruiser complete everything but the radio. and in really great shape. i took my radio and rx and made a adapter for a 8 cell battery hooked it all up and the thing works . looks like it was sitting in a garage for 20 years . the tires are like brand new. anyway i thought it was a really cool find. i will post up some pics later.

sounds like the deal my dumbass got one for when I was in jr highschool, Then I know I traded it for something lame because I don't have either anymore. I do have a bruiser, but I didn't get it for a smokin deal like the other one.:-(  |

it was the miramar landfill , he also got a bunch of 1/18 die cast military stuff . and a cool die cast caterpillar scraper. he said he was going back for a second helping but the guy that works there made him stop. to bad he did not find the radio.it has a 4 channel receiver in it.

You sir are one lucky guy  . That looks to be in great shape to ~ too bad it can't be traced back to the owner I wonder what other goodies he has !
