Limiting the population of the earth to 500 million will require the extermination of nine-tenths of the world's people. The American Stonehenge's reference to establishing a world court foreshadows the current move to create an International Criminal Court and a world government. The Guidestones' emphasis on preserving nature anticipates the environmental movement of the 1990s, and the reference to "seeking harmony with the infinite" reflects the current effort to create a new spirituality.

Its a world we would all want to live in, but one noone wants to create.

It's people that have more than two kids who contribute the most to over-population. I think it's great that people want to have a family with children, I do too, but it sometimes gets out of hand. Like the TV show John and Kate plus 8, and that southern family with what, 19 kids! The baby boomer generation has been a major contribution as well, and probably one of the largest, as they all go on to have children too. Don't even get me started with Asia, I mean, no hard feelings, but let's just hope they stay over there.

Do you really want to live in a world with such few people? A world where your own personal beliefs are dictated by the people in control/power? You realize that pregnancies would have to have state approval in a world like that. Private property would illegal. Where would the wisdom to rule come from? How would those in control get the control in the first place? How would a ruler on a different continent have jurisdiction and complete understanding of what is best in another continent?


Do you have children? If people can raise a healthy and happy family more power to them. Who are you to limit them from having kids? The truth is, most people can't handle commitment so the family doesn't stay together anyways which causes many problems in itself.


I find the stones and the messages on them frightening. I am an American. I believe in my Constitution and Bill of Rights. Although I am ashamed of my current government and elites running it, I still appreciate what our forefathers did when they wrote the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. We are fast heading down the road towards Marxism and Socialism and we are a far cry from what our forefathers wanted this nation to be. These stones represent what some elitists would like to turn this world into. They are slowly but surely getting their way.

I've been there before. It's like 20ft tall! It has stuff wrote all over it. You can get there going to Atlanta going through Athens Ga. Some of the stuff it says is just crazy:roll::lol:

There are over 6000 religions in the known world. While this is certainly one of them, I didn't see anywhere that it mentions "God" or "Lord", only faith.

Controlled reproduction is not entirely a bad idea. Sounds bad, sure, but the positives may outweigh the negatives.

Guiding reproduction? Mmmm, might have an issue with that one.

A new "universal" language? Meh, don't think it'd matter that much.

Tempered reason? I'm down with that.

Fair laws and Just courts? We should have that already, though infected with beaurocracy...

A world court...we have that too, its just that not everyone is on board with it.

Personal rights and social responsibilities...mmm'k. That could be interpreted a few different ways.

Sounds like it could be a nice place to live, of course, we could never live there. We'd just jack it all up and eventually tear it up untill its like it is now. Untill we actively learn to put a firm lid on the 7 deadly sins, we get exactly what we have now. Power is a mighty corruptor. I wouldn't trust anyone with the power to govern such a world to not apply his/her own agenda.

Though I must say, our leaving "the mother land" to get away from governmental and religious dictatorship was a step in the right direction. Seperation of church and state is an absolute must.

To Nova's Ark: You are absolutely right. If our founding fathers could see the state of affairs here, they would crap themselves, scoop it up, eat it, and crap themselves again. I don't think that what we have now is what they had in mind.

In the grand scheme of things we are still a very young nation. We are bound to fail by our own inexperienced/ignorant/inherently human hands.

Go read #5 again. The whole idea is to forget about continents and juristiction and let the world be one big happy family. Sounds like a better idea than the clusterf*ck of a situation we're in now.
