Default How to remove Powder Coating ?

Ive got some parts that have been powdercoated and i want to get that crap off. Does anyone know any tricks to remove it?

Sand blaster, or hours of sanding. Powder coating is chemical resistant.

Aircraft stripper. Use gloves and eye protection.

Brush it on, wait awhile, keep it on until all of the powder coat is bubbling then rinse it off with water.

It may take a couple of applications but it's WAY easier than blasting.

try brake cleaner. Its not fast but it will come off. Keep it wet.

Well ive had it soaking in goof off for about an hour and then i hit it with the paper dremel sanding disks and its working quite well.
