| Ive been out of the loop with the 4 wheeling for some time. I have no idea what today's standards are, but 35's are big tires in my book. And you wheel I assume? That's a different story too. I wouldn't expect a 231 to hold up real long with 4 wheeling and 35s. But for a grocery getter, they're fine, that's all I'm saying.

35's are the norm these days... BTW, like I said earlier, the chain isnt the only issue with that t-case....the aluminum housing is not strong enough either...I've seen them snap like a twig. It might be fine in a soccer mom's grand, but he said that he wanted to tow with this thing, which I assume means his ski boat (not a small boat). |
