The bus driver wrote on a misbehavior form that 15-year-old Jonathan Locke Jr. was passing gas on the bus Monday to make the other children laugh, creating a stench so bad that it was difficult to breathe. The bus driver handed Locke the suspension form the next day. Polk County school officials say there's no rule against flatulence, but there are rules against causing a disturbance on the bus. Locke says he wasn't the one passing gas. Whether he did it or not, he might have gotten off easy. | The real scary part is that he apparently "caused a disturbance" on the bus and was punished because it was "against the rules". Last I checked there were a ton of windows on the bus. Nothing open windows couldn't fix. Get used to more crap like this. Laws today are written with so much ambiguity that more crap like this will happen...and it'll involve your rights. |

| If he really was causing a distrubance, I can understand. But yeah, there are working windows. Use them. Otherwise, farts rule! Nobody see's them coming, they are the perfect pratical joke. Just yesterday I got my co-worker twice with a "whats that smell?" gag...as soon as they start to take that big inquisitive sniff, let one rip. Priceless.  |

| That is insane! .. I can't even comprehend how someone can get suspended over that let alone arrested. Duuuuuuuuuuuude that gag is the best .. but it works better with silent ones .. you can let it linger for a minute then look around concerned and say "you smell gas or something?!?" then they sniff around and it hits them! .. Then there's the old "cupcake" .. that is priceless! |
