Thumbs up Proline FJ40 body anyone?

I've just talked to proline and they said that they discontinued that body because no one was buying it. I informed them how the hobby was blowing up and that body seems to be really popular. They said if i could show them that there is desire for that body still that I could show them the website and they would possibly start making it again. So as a 1:1 fj owner I need that body! Please post if you would like to buy that body again if it was available. Thanks

Proline is well aware of this site and how scale rc crawling is taking off.

Sounds to me like they just gave you a line.

We've had a lot of demand for them here. I know of at least 7 people that want them.

In bed yes.....secretary....no.

Proline didn't discontinue the FJ body because the demand and sales were down.....and I know that no one at Proline would say that. Also, I know that no Proline rep. would say, "hey said if i could show them that there is desire for that body still that I could show them the website and they would possibly start making it again."

That is the biggest bunch of BS I have ever heard. LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Liar? hmmmm.

I'm sure Dirk can tell you all about why the body was discontinued. I'm just telling you about the response that I got from proline regarding the body. If you would like me to post that then I will be happy to. Now to the fact of calling me a liar, why waste your time to type crap about people you dont know? I'm just interested in the jf body as are tons of people on here.

$129 is doubtfull. especially with an esc. but, then again, tamiya doesn't have many expensive kits except for their racing onroad cars. But the bruiser is pretty complicated what with all the metalness and leafsprungness and stuff.

Harris, i was being sarcastic. if they ever repopped the Bruiser it'd be more like $7-800 with bushings and no ESC. might as well hold my breath for the Sand Scorcher.
