btw kenny, how you stated that as a rule of thumb to think 100/ hr i take it that goes up quite i bit when refering to a bone needle tat? (taking its specialized nature and extra time due to not using a conventional gun?) Last edited by NeXt559; 03-29-2009 at 10:24 AM.

The price for yours might be a little more but not much.....some do it cheaper because they enjoy doing it that way Not if it is done right. It's a very slow process. One gauge size a month, Matt's is over a 4 year time period. If done to fast, yea it will hurt.....

| When you need it done let me know, I do it Also you can take vitamin C capsules and bust them open (The gel kind) and rub it onto the scar tissue and get them to go down some as well.....

What do you think is best to put on a fresh tat? Mostly I get told A&D but the last tat I got done the guy said to use Aquaphor, and he was really adamant about it, so I did. The one I used Aquaphor on looks the best, but I kinda think that's because the other two were apprentice tats I got for 20 bucks each, and they look like crap because they are... |

Kenny I hear you mentioning tipping and am not in any way calling you out on it or anything, but how much cost is actually involved as far as the business is concerned?? Is there really that big of a loss when doing a job?? Just curious as to the profit/loss in your line of work. Surely you can't live on tips alone??? FWIW I had no idea your supposed to tip. I appreciate the heads up. I'll be sure to remember that on my first! |
